To explore the role of music in the lives and development of children.

To examine the use of music in gestation and the neonatal intensive care unit.

To pinpoint the development of rhythm and tone, and the appropriate time to begin musical lessons.

To identify how music can be used with hearing-impaired children.

To protect the child's hearing from the misuse of headphones.

To recognize potential adverse effects of music, including misogynistic or antisocial lyrics.
